The Air Force volleyball team returns to the Academy this week for a pair of Mountain West matches at Falcon Court at East Gym. The Falcons will host New Mexico at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 29, before welcoming TCU to the Academy for the final time as a conference opponent on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 1 p.m. Live stats and webcasting will be available for both matches on GoAirForceFalcons.com.

MATCH INFORMATION
Tickets for both matches are $5 (adults) and $2 (children). For fans that can't make it to East Gym, the matches will be webcast and have GameTracker access via GoAirForceFalcons.com. Following Saturday's match, the players and coaches will host a one-hour clinic for youth (eighth grade and younger).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
New Mexico is currently 7-4 on the season and 0-1 in conference action, while TCU is 14-1 overall and 1-0 in the Mountain West. The two programs faced each other last weekend, with the Horned Frogs taking the 3-1 victory (18-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-19) in Albuquerque. TCU, who is scheduled to leave the Mountain West following the 2011-12 academic year, will travel to Boise State before taking on the Falcons.

SERIES HISTORY
New Mexico leads the all-time series with Air Force by a 25-3 margin, with the Falcons' last win over the Lobos coming at UNM in 2003. TCU holds a 13-2 all-time record against the Falcons, with Air Force last defeating the Horned Frogs at the Academy in 2005.

FLYING ACES
Air Force is ranked second the Mountain West with 1.40 aces per set, while Ayesha Hein is ranked 10th with a 0.26 average. In addition, Hein and Josalynn Wise are tied for first in the league's single-match standings with their respective four-ace outings against Northern Colorado and Bowling Green.

CONFERENCE STANDINGS, PART I
In addition to the Falcons' standings in ace production, Air Force players are listed among the league's top 10 in other categories. Ayesha Hein is ranked sixth in hitting percentage (.306), seventh in points (3.52) and ninth in kills (2.90). Maiya Perich is ranked fourth with 4.48 digs per set, while Cami Richan is ranked seventh in kills per set (2.98) and Hillary Keltner is ranked eighth in assists per set (6.20).

CONFERENCE STANDINGS, PART II
In conference-only standings, Cami Richan is ranked fourth in points (4.08 per set) and fifth in kills (3.83 per set) in the conference-only standings, while Maiya Perich is ranked 10th in digs with a 3.67 per set average.

THE SWING SET
Cami Richan hit a season-best clip of .345 against Wyoming on Sept. 24. The sophomore accounted for 10 kills on 29 swings, while committing no errors. It is tied for the sixth-best hitting performance of the season ... and the only in the top 10 without an attacking error.

NOW SERVING...
Josalynn Wise collected her 10th service ace of the season at Colorado State on Sept. 22. She is the fourth Falcon to tally at least 10 aces on the year, joining Ayesha Hein (13), Maiya Perich (12) and Emma Dridge (12).
