Body found on SoCal beach identified - Sacramento Bee

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. -- Authorities have identified the body of a woman that was found on Huntington State Beach on Monday morning.

The Orange County Register reports ( http://bit.ly/pfBrQV) that the body is that of 30-year-old Myphuong Tran of La Habra.

Huntington Beach police Lt. Russell Reinhart says the death appears to be a drowning. Reinhart says body was fully clothed, appeared to have been in the water less than 24 hours, and there's no indication of anything criminal.
