Daytona Beach police are looking for a woman who sold a stolen tailgate last week at a business in South Daytona.

The tailgate was sold to a business on Reed Canal Road on Sept. It was stolen that same day from a vehicle parked at 1023 Mason Ave., Daytona Beach police said.

Police have released a surveillance photo of the woman, who was driving a burgundy 1999 or 2000 four-door Mitsubishi.

She may have been with a man who went to the business the next day and sold a tailgate from a silver 2001 Chevrolet Silverado.

Anyone who can identify the woman or who knows about a missing Silverado tailgate can call Det. Runge at 386-671-5242.
