PHOENIX - Supermodel Heidi Klum got into a bit of trouble at a Phoenix hotel after she was told twice to put her bikini top back on.

Klum told Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" that she doesn't like to wear a bikini top in the sun because of tan lines and was at the hotel's pool topless.

When a security guard told her she couldn't do that, she said it's not a problem in Europe -- but in America, people are more uptight.

Klum added that the guard told her people were complaining, so she put the top back on.

She later took it back off, but was scolded again.

The name of the hotel was not released.
