Dozens of military veterans who have returned home to Palm Beach County are struggling to find a job in the civilian sector.

The veterans waited in line at the West Palm Beach Armory during a job fair for veterans Saturday. The veterans were interviewed for jobs in retail, law enforcement, education and service sectors.

The Palm Beach Post reports ( http://bit.ly/paNrsy) that Congressman Ted Deutch, D-Boca Raton, hosted the fair on the eve of the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in hopes of drawing attention to unemployed veterans.

Deutch says veterans who have served multiple tours of duty are returning home "in a touch economy."

A representative for Brown Distributing interviewed candidates for seven local positions with the growing beverage service company and nearly a dozen other statewide positions.
