VOILA Hotel Rewards Continues Worldwide Expansion With Rosedale Hotels ... - MarketWatch (press release)
Posted on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 by destination tips travel
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Following the recent addition of hotels in Europe, VOILA Hotel Rewards today announced it has entered a partnership with Rosedale Hotel Group which will result in the addition of four new hotels in Hong Kong and China.
"With our Rosedale Hotel Group partnership, VOILA is proving its vision to dramatically grow our presence in key strategic markets around the world," said Peter Gorla, VOILA Hotel Rewards vice president and CMO. "Both Hong Kong and China are critical destinations in our global network and we are proud to be adding even more compelling hotel destinations for our members."
The Rosedale Hotel Group includes four business style hotels in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Shenyang.
"Rosedale Hotels combine quality, exceptional guest service, comfort and four-star amenities, making them the brand of choice for travelers in Hong Kong and China," said Lucas Chanter of Rosedale Hotel Group. "We are delighted to be teaming with VOILA, one of the most prestigious reward programs in the industry. The partnership will enhance our frequent guests' travel experiences, while providing us exposure to the thousands of travelers in VOILA's extensive worldwide network."
Rosedale Hong Kong is located near Causeway Bay, one of Hong Kong's most vibrant areas and ideally situated for shopping, dining, entertainment, or business. Many of the hotel's elegantly appointed rooms provide panoramic views of historic Victoria Park and Victoria Harbor. Guests can enjoy dining in the hotel's signature Chinese restaurant or relax and enjoy a meal and drinks in the restaurant and lounge with impressive views of Hong Kong's famous harbor and skyline.
Rosedale Guangzhou is located in the Haizhu District on the Pearl River Delta, a historical and cultural hub near the heart of the city. The hotel offers a diverse mix of dining and entertainment, and an array of health and fitness options that are perfect for business or leisure travelers.
Rosedale Beijing is just a few minutes from the rapidly developing Chao Yang district and looks out over lush Si De Park. The hotel features five on-site restaurants and lounges as well as fully staffed conference facilities.
Rosedale Shenyang is located in the heart of the Shenhe district, and within walking distance to businesses, entertainment, shopping and the North Railway Station which serves three provinces in the northeast. The hotel offers something for everyone including large conference and event facilities, squash courts, two restaurants, lounge and a nightclub.
VOILA's partnership with Rosedale marks the program's first hotel in Hong Kong and establishes a total of seven hotels in China along with the Swiss-Belhotel Changchun, Swiss Belhotel Huanlun Hefei, Swiss-Belhotel Lotus Lake, and The Dragon China.
"We are dedicated to continuing to develop VOILA's network of hotels in Asia," continued Gorla. "This partnership enables us to continue our expansion in the region while providing members with accommodations and redemption opportunities in key cities in Hong Kong and China."
ABOUT ROSEDALE HOTEL GROUP
Rosedale Hotel Group ( www.rosedalehotels.com ) operates hotels in major cities in Hong Kong and China aimed at the 4 star corporate and leisure markets. With over 10 years of providing excellent customer service and comfort to our loyal guests, Rosedale has recently embarked on an expansion program that includes new hotels in Hong Kong and China as well as continued upgrades to facilities at existing hotels.
ABOUT VOILA HOTEL REWARDS
VOILA ( www.vhr.com ) is the world's number one loyalty program that unites a network of more than 250 four- and five-star independent hotels and luxury brands. The program first launched in 2008 and has developed a reputation among travelers who like to stay in original, up-market independent properties for its compelling promotions, ease of use and simple, quick redemption process.
VOILA's co-branded, fully customized guest loyalty programs support travelers who frequent Hoteis Othon, Deville Hotels, St Giles New York, Swissbel Hotels and Resorts, Kayumanis, Nevsky Hotel Grand, Great Hotels Organisation, Coral Hotels & Resorts, Hoteles Lucerna, Continental Hotels Group, Husa Hotels and Amari hotels & resorts.
VOILA's points-based frequency guest program provides recognition benefits and room redemption opportunities at participating network hotels. But unlike big chain programs, VOILA enables independent hotel groups to stay independent and maintain their unique qualities.
VOILA provides hotel- or group-branded solutions for our partner hotels, with VOILA acting as the "supporting" brand (similar to Star Alliance or OneWorld for FFP's). This allows members to earn and redeem points across a wide variety of hotels and redemption partners in the VOILA global network.
From the consumer's perspective, this means members can enjoy the rich experiences and extraordinary qualities independent hotels offer while earning points and receiving benefits typically tied to big chain loyalty programs.
