What's in your travel photo album?

On the New York Times website I saw a link on their travel page to reader-submitted photos. Some of these are just amazing, and it got me to thinking, what is my favorite travel photo? (I have several from my trip to Europe in 2006, one of Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and another of a church overlooking the harbor in Marseilles.)

And then I thought, hey, what photos might readers have? Why don't you show and tell? Send in your favorite photos, along with a little something about where it was taken and why it's your favorite. I'll post them on the Scenic Route. Send photos to jennifer.fernandez@news-record.com

I'll have to dig out my camera memory cards for that trip and post some of the photos here. It was the best vacation I've ever taken, other than maybe my first trip to Vegas with my mom when I was 21.

I went to Europe with my best friend, Holly. We spent a week in Barcelona and another in Marseille, although we took a short train ride north to a tiny French coastal town, Cassis where we spent one day. The church on the hill might have been from there, actually. I'll have to check my photos.

I love pulling out old photos and reliving the trip. In this economy, that's probably all I can afford anyway!
