Lifeguards get ready to leave the beach - Delmarva Now

LIFEGUARD SCHEDULES FOR THE END OF THE SEASON:

Ocean City

The full force of lifeguards patrol the beaches from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. until Sept. 25. Mobile units will be on call for assistance at regular hours from then until Oct. 10.

Fenwick Island

Lifeguards patrol the beaches full-time from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. until Sept. 5. They continue those hours of operation for the following two weekends, officially ending service Sept. 18.

Bethany Beach

Lifeguards patrol the beaches full-time until Sept. 5. They continue patrol during weekends in September from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Dewey Beach

Lifeguards patrol the beaches full-time, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., until Sept. 5. Reduced operations will continue until Sept. 11.

Rehoboth Beach

Lifeguards will continue to patrol beaches at full-time hours, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. until Sept. 25, with a reduced staff. Sept. 3-5. The full staff will be on duty from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
