It was common discussion topic locally few months ago……You won’t surprise that you can hear it almost at all the coffee chop during tea break time!
Therefore I decide to look at it before visiting a client at PTP today, and experience the progress of this “Mega Project” located at Gelang Patah.
The developments at G. Patah fall in the Flagship Zone B – Nusajaya (Total 5 Econimic Zones). If my memory serves me well, it was the first develop area for the IDR Project. The other areas are progress concurrently at the moment.
The development region encompasses an area about 3 times the size of Singapore and 48 times the size of Putrajaya.
The Nusajaya area will be consist of :-
- Johor state administrative centre
- Medical hub
- Educity
- International destination resort
- Southern Industrial logistic cluster
More info about the IDR, please visit the official website: http://www.idr.com.my or Wiki.
Below are some of the photos at the construction side…….

I believe this project will have the direct economy boost for Gelang Patah small town, maybe in the coming future of 3 - 5 years, it will expand like other big cities in the same region......
