Nahargarh Fort Ranthambore - Experience Royalty and Wildlife
Posted on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 by destination tips travel
Located in the district of Sawai Madhopur, in Rajasthan, Ranthambore is one of the biggest national parks in India, protecting the Royal Bengal Tigers. Ranthambore was maharajas' favorite hunting ground in olden days. Presently the park is a famous tourist spot attracting wildlife photographers and lovers alike to spend exciting holidays. Spread over a vast area of 1,334 square kilometers, Ranthambore is home to the wildest predators. Watching them live in action, in their natural habitat is a visual treat, and a nerve racking experience too. The park houses not just tigers but a gamut of other animal and bird species.
The Nahargarh Fort lies close to the Ranthambore national park and was previously a Fort constructed by the Raja of Sawai, Jai Singh. It has however taken the face of a hotel lately. The Nahargarh fort Ranthambore is a true replica of a Rajput Palace, oozing with royal grandeur and style. The fort is set against the wildlife park and adds the perfect garnish to an already awesome treat. With tigers lazing around and nature at its best, a list of Ranthambore luxury hotels is incomplete without a special mention of the Fort Nahargarh.
The fort offers rooms that have received tremendous applaud from travelers and reviewers alike. Well equipped with all amenities that a modern luxurious life would require, the Fort Nahargarh is a traveler's paradise.
Apart from plush rooms the Nahargarh Fort has well equipped Conference rooms, ideal for business meetings and conferences. The food served here is simply a taste of what the great rulers used to eat. Ranging from ethnic Indian to classic European the cuisines served here are prepared with a deep respect to the master sense - the sense of taste.
The hotel lobby has something distinctly special about it. The walls and ceilings of the lobby are intricately inlaid with gold decorations. A stay at the Ranthambore National Park amidst the Royal Bengal Tigers and the royal treatment at the Ranthambore luxury hotels is truly a timeless experience.
The Nahargarh Fort is one of the best hotels in Ranthambore. Among other hotels, the Tiger Den Resort, Tiger Moon Resort, Vanya Vilas Resort, Aman I-Khas, and the Ranthambore Regency are some of the finest luxury hotels in Ranthambore.
However a visit to the Nahargarh Fort gives an experience of the days of palaces and kings and the breathtaking natural beauty and wildlife make the experience an outstanding one.
