The iconic coastal properties, all beautifully decorated and painted, face being battered by the biggest hurricane to hit the east coast in years.

Residents have been forced to leave them to the mercy of Hurricane Irene as the storm threatens to destroy their multi-million dollar properties.
Insurance companies say $61 billion worth of flood insurance polices cover these iconic US buildings.
Six to 10 inches of rain is expected to cause flooding along rivers all over New Jersey.
Nobody home: A resident makes final plans for the hurricane.
The move to protect home came hours after New Jersey governor Chris Christie warned: 'Get the hell off the beach.
'You're done. Do not waste any more time working on your tan.'
About 1 million people in the state were subject to mandatory evacuation of the area.
