WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A judge has denied bond for a man accused in the deaths of a woman found in a South Florida landfill and two children found in a canal.

The Palm Beach Post reports ( http://bit.ly/qJPuIG) 34-year-old Clem Beauchamp had a brief hearing Wednesday in West Palm Beach.

It's his first court appearance since being formally charged last week with three counts of first-degree murder.

Prosecutors will seek the death penalty when his case eventually goes to trial.
