Family Holiday Park Operator Haven Holidays Wins Two Top Travel Awards - MarketWatch (press release)
Posted on Sunday, October 2, 2011 by destination tips travel
HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, UNITED KINGDOM, Oct 03, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Haven is delighted to have once again had its efforts recognised by the UK travel industry after winning two prestigious awards.
The hugely popular family holiday park company was named 'Operator of the Year' at the recent Travel Bulletin Star Awards and 'Domestic Operator of the Year 2011' at the Travel Trade Gazette Travel Industry Awards. For both awards the judging panel was made up of impartial experts with direct experience of the travel industry and/or retail business, and took into account direct guest feedback about Haven.
It's no real surprise that Haven has been rewarded in this way. With 35 holiday parks on offer at great coastal locations throughout the UK offering touring, camping and caravan holidays, Haven has something for everyone - including miles of gorgeous coastline, stunning countryside, great beaches, first-class facilities, family-based activities, outstanding water fun, top-rate entertainment and a choice of accommodation.
The fantastic facilities found at Haven parks include all-weather sports courts, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, and climbing walls, while visitors to the parks can also indulge in a huge range of free and 'pay as you go' sports and activities. Many a Haven holidaymaker has embarked on a new experience - be it fencing, archery, abseiling...or even a spot of laser combat.
What's more, every day includes a full programme of free family entertainment running from breakfast until late, with live music, disco, cabaret, comedy, dazzling stage shows and top touring acts throughout the summer all available to make sure everyone has a great stay.
For younger visitors, Kids' Clubs are available at each of Haven's holiday parks for a range of different age groups and are professionally run by experienced "FunStars". These Clubs act as an ideal ice-breaker for kids and young ones will simply love getting together to have some fun. The Clubs are free and just part of a wider programme of popular and healthy activities for children.
It really is as good as it sounds. And these awards confirm industry support for a first class holiday experience.
