Two men have been arrested in Virginia Beach after they were caught on camera stealing from a storm-damaged home as Hurricane Irene whipped through the area.
A local news station was reporting live at the scene where several homes had been damaged during a small tornado in Sandbridge Beach yesterday at 3:50pm, when two white males were pictured suspiciously leaving a residence, property in hand.
Patrick McGuire, 29, and Charles Andrews IV, 22, were arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny in connection to the theft.

Authorities told MailOnline alcohol and an iPod speaker system were stolen from the home on the 3200 block of Sandfiddler Road - a block from a home the men shared in the beach town.
A spokesman for the Virginia Beach Police Department said numerous officers were patrolling the area during the Local 13News
report, and immediately responded to the scene and observed a suspect in the area.

After a brief foot pursuit, that suspect was located in a home in the 3200 block of Sandpiper Road. The second suspect was located at the same residence.
Officers took both suspects into custody and notified a Property Crimes Detective.
The stolen items were recovered and returned to the victim, who had evacuated their home after a mandatory order was set by Virginia Beach officials as heavy winds, flooding and tornado warnings threatened the coastal town.

Residents were allowed to return today morning at 9:00am.
McGuire and Andrews were being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center at press time.
The case remains under investigation by the Department's First Precinct Property Crimes Unit.
