Here are some additional resources for people who had travel plans snarled in the wake of Hurricane Irene:

Amtrak expands service, still no trains between Philadelphia and New York

If you need to take Amtrak north of Philadelphia, you're still out of luck. No trains Northeast Regional or Acela Express service will run north of Philadelphia to New York.

Most Northeast Regional trains will operate south of Philadelphia. There will be full service to Lychburg, limited service to Richmond and no service between Richmond and Newport News.

Amtrak plans to resume service between New York City and Boston on Tuesday, but service remains cut off between New York and Philadelphia.

Greyhound resumes more service

Greyhound has also resumed limited service in areas impacted by the hurricane. Call 800-231-2222 to check on specific route information.
