MINNEAPOLIS, MN, Sep 29, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Travelliance (formerly LJK Companies, Inc.) ( www.travellianceinc.com ), a full-service lodging and transportation management company specializing in crew and employee travel management and parent company to LodgeX Airline Solutions, Outsource Administrators, Inc. (OAI) and Intermotel Leasing, has merged with Nationwide Hospitality (NHI, Inc.) ( www.nationwidehospitality.net ), a full-service hotel lodging solution provider specializing in complimentary airline accommodation programs that include passenger distress operations, airline employee travel management, hotel sourcing services, crew layover and ancillary accounting services. The two companies will come together to form the largest full-service crew and employee travel management company in the airline industry.
This is one of several phases of a Travelliance transformational repositioning campaign that brings together top experts in crew, employee, and distressed passenger travel with the best technologies and the best business practices in the industry. The combined buying power and diversification of services better positions both organizations to increase value to their respective clients including hotel sourcing, transportation, financial management and auditing, custom analytics and corporate and leisure travel. As a result of the merger, clients in industries such as the airlines, rail, retail, corporate, sports and the government will benefit from our investment in new technology, enhanced services and receive increased savings in all areas of their travel-related expenses.
Travelliance and Nationwide Hospitality combined represent over 70 airlines and over 5 million room nights. With offices and onsite locations in over 20 cities around the world, Travelliance and Nationwide Hospitality are positioned to aggressively grow their operations and better represent their clients both domestically and internationally.
"Nationwide Hospitality is a natural fit with Travelliance as they are the leader in the distressed passenger and airline employee travel market and their core company values are aligned with Travelliance values," says Lisa Wing, Travelliance CEO. "This merger allows us to offer our customers a full menu of services at significantly competitive pricing through a single point of contact with the personal touch of customization and scalable solutions."
"We are excited for the opportunity to expand our industry footprint," says Ted Scislowski, Nationwide Hospitality CEO. "Merging with Travelliance allows us to maintain our current business practices, which have been successful for us and our clients, while expanding into new services and technologies not previously available to us."
"In addition to combining our strengths, we are hiring top people in the industry to develop new ideas and find innovative ways to increase our clients' profitability," stated Wing. "By focusing on increasing our clients' bottom line and improving their customers' satisfaction, it's just one more way Travelliance offers our clients all the right connections."
