A dead body found on a desolate beach believed to be a dumping ground for a serial killer was wearing women's clothing, leading police to believe he may have been a prostitute.
Police made the grizzly discovery at Gilgo Beach in Long Island, the same place that many victims of the craigslist killer were found.
Five of the ten bodies discovered in the area have been identified as craigslist prostitutes.
Victims: Police sketches of Jane Doe No. 6 and an Asian man, whose bodies were found washed up on a Long Island beach
The new revelations emerged as the Suffolk County Police released composite drawings of two victims - the man and a young woman known as Jane Doe No. 6.
The body found recently was of an Asian man between the ages of 17 and 23. Police say he was missing two molars and one of his top front teeth and think he died between five to ten years ago, according to the New York Daily News.
Several parts of Jane Doe No. 6's body was discovered in Manorville in November 2000.
Location: Gilgo Beach where the bodies of 10 prostitutes have been found including the body of an Asian man in women's clothing
DNA linked the woman's torso, head, hands and right foot which were found scattered along Ocean Parkway in April this year.
The woman, who is Caucasian and stood 5-foot-2, is believed to be between the ages of 18-35.
Suffolk County Police Commissioner Richard Dormer told the daily News:
'Based on what we know of some of the other victims, we consider that this woman may have been working as a prostitute in New York City at that time.'
He also revealed that the body of an infant girl - believed to be between 18-24 months old - who was found close to the remains of Jane Doe No. 6, was actually linked by DNA to a female whose remains were found about seven miles away in Nassau County on April 11.
He said: 'Although we cannot definitively say, it is likely that these two individuals are mother and child.
He said that both of the victims were also wearing jewellery.
